A movement was born in the summer of 2012 in the 4th floor office of an Upper East side Jewish Life Community Center. The Executive Director of the Y, shared a six word idea with his colleague: “Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday.” The idea has become a refreshing call to focus on giving, instead of being caught up in the vortex of retail mania. ☺️ Today and everyday let’s be conscious of the “one” in your path and sow words of encouragement, kindness and prayer in their lives.
